Dr. Ashok Ajmera

Mr. Ashok Ajmera is a renowned Chartered Accountant and a Capital Market Expert of the Country. He is the Chairman and Managing Director of Ajcon Global Services Ltd, a BSE listed Company. With over 40 years of experience, Mr. Ajmera has emerged as a reputed advisor in the field of Investment Banking, Corporate Advisory, Equity Research, Merchant Banking and Capital Markets.

During his long professional career, Mr Ajmera has helped more than 250 small, medium & big enterprises setting up their projects as project finance consultant. He supervised the project implementation, project monitoring and arranged the required finance from the Banking system in India, Private Equity Firms, Venture Capitalists and NBFCs. Mr Ajmera has indepth knowledge of the workings of almost all the industrial sectors from textile to plastic , from chemical to oil & petroleum, from engineering to automobile , from packaging to logistic, from Paper to plastic , from financial sector to software and so on so forth. He has tremendous contacts & networking in the banking & financial circle. He is also on the Advisory Board of India Chapter of Association of Certified Financial Crime (ACFCS-USA).

In the past he served on the Board of BSE Brokers Forum (BBF) for more than 6 years, as the Independent Director on the Board of Director of Canara Bank Securities Ltd (100 % Subsidiary of Canara Bank), Bombay Stock Exchange’s SME Working Group, held positions in several Hi – Power Committees of National Stock Exchange of India. He also served as the Director of Association of NSE Members (ANMI) for 2 years and went on to become Vice-Chairman of ANMI-WIRC.

Mr. Ajmera has contributed several articles and interviews in leading Newspapers & magazines. Leading news & business channels interview him on regular basis as a Capital Market Expert / Stock Analyst. He has more than 2500 appearances on these channels to his credit. He has also presented well researched papers in Universities, Management Institutes, National & International Seminars on subjects related to Indian Economy, Capital Markets and Project Finance. He authored a hand book on financial planning, published by the CPE Board of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He also presented a well-researched paper on the ‘Opening up of Indian economy in Japan way back in 1992.

On the social front, Mr. Ajmera is an active Rotarian as the Past President of Rotary Club of Bombay North. All through his life he was engaged in various social activities and was an active Jaycee, Past President of Lions Club of South Bombay, Managing Committee Member of Nana Chudasama’s “I Love Mumbai” & F.T. Khorakiwala’s Citizen Council for Better Tomorrow (CCBT), Patron Member of JITO, Board Member of International Vaish Federation. Most importantly, he was appointed by Government of Maharashtra as a Special Executive Magistrate for over 6 years. Mr. Ajmera’s name appears amongst a very few Indians who have the fellowship of all the large three International NGOs viz. Henry Gissinbier Fellowship (JCI), Melvin Jones Fellowship (Lions International ) and Paul Harris Fellowship ( Rotary International ). He is also a Senator of JCI and an International Trainer having conducted more than 300 training seminars and workshops on Individual & Personality Development.

Mr. Ajmera has received many awards and accolades, a few of them are Management Man of the Year Award for consecutive three years at the hands of Governor of Maharashtra, International Award for Excellence in the field of Management by IES. He has been conferred with the honorary doctorate in Financial management by KIU,South Korea.

Mr. Ajmera has toured extensively abroad and has been representing Ajcon Global as Financial Consultants for its overseas Clients and has addressed several International Business Conferences most recent being ICSA, AGM. He is also an Angel Investor and takes keen interest in promoting entrepreneurship skills amongst the youngsters. His hobbies are travelling, meeting people, public speaking and social work.
